Secretly Starving

I wrote a couple of months ago about a reporter from The Daily Telegraph called Sarah Rainey who contacted me because she was writing an article about blogs about eating disorders
I answered some questions for her and the article was published last month to coincide with Eating Disorders Awareness Week
Here's the link

  1. You know, I like it. It's appropriate. I've read so many articles on blogging that bash or are quick to label the users as "crazy" and "sick." I liked how the writer incorporated your blog, she did it on a positive note, I hope you feel the same. It was really brave to step out and have a piece of your story published like that. I hope you're doing well, take care hon.

  3. I really like what you wrote! It was very matter-of-fact and also hopeful about living a life away from the eating disorder. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I skipped down to your bit, I'll read the rest of the article later when I'm able to concentrate ^.^ (Miles is building a balloon rubik's cube and I get to pop it soon!)

I really REALLY liked your bit. Blunt honesty to dispel myths :D

If you're willing, can I swing buy yours in November when I'm in the UK for a hug, cuppa and a chat? I really, really want to hug you then in case I never get the chance to again,

Love you to bits, Ruby <3

  5. I really like how they worked your blog in as a contrast to the pro-ana blogs. I think the journalist has done this really well overall. A lot of 'awareness' articles seem to encourage more than anything, but this one strikes a good balance to me. I think it's important to show that the online ED community isn't black and white like a lot of articles seem to suggest.
Take care as best you can. Love you oodles and oodles <3 xxxx
