I read somewhere recently
That if something in your life is bother you
You have three options
Change it
Ignore it
Or accept it
This really spoke to me as if you read my last post you will know I've been struggling with body image
To cut a long story short
With regard to my weight
I've decided to accept it
Changing it is too risky
And I have too much to lose
I can't ignore it as it's my body
So accept it it is
The end

  1. Hooray! Good for you, :)) x

  2. It's the only way x

  3. The whole feeling comfortable/uncomfortable in your skin is part of ED recovery. That uncomfortable feeling is the ED trying to sneak its way back into the driver's seat. Weight tends to fluctuate with the seasons and I think many of us get heavier during the winter months.

Weight can always be lost, and probably will as the spring and summer come and you're back at your job. And who the heck cares what your weight is. Your dogs don't, and your pony doesn't. I think you're making the right choice. <3

  4. Girl, I am so proud of you and all of the accomplishments that you've made in your journey to recovery.
I've been reading since pretty much the beginning and there were times when I was so worried about you.
I'm glad that you're in the acceptance stage and that you see all that is at risk if you decided to change it. You're a tough woman and I am so lucky to call you my friend!
    XOXO Katie

  5. I'm glad to hear that, Ruby. I think diets and weight loss will always be a dangerous issue for anyone who's had an ED. If your clothes are triggering you, it might be a good time to treat yourself to something new.

  6. Massive hugs and cheers; I do love you, dearest Ruby, although I disappear from time to time.

Thank you for leaving some love x
